Privacy at Amia.
Our approach
Amia is designed as a private space for personal reflection. We do not sell personal data, show advertising or use conversation content to train our own or third-party AI models. The service is intended for adults aged 18 or older and is governed by Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
What Amia processes
Amia processes account data, the content you choose to share in conversations, notes and memory created from those conversations, and the minimum technical data required to operate and protect the service. Conversation history is stored so that future conversations can have continuity.
Why the data is used
- To provide the service, generate responses and maintain continuity.
- To authenticate accounts, prevent abuse and protect the platform.
- To process payments and provide customer support.
- To comply with Brazilian law and respond to valid legal requests.
AI provider and international processing
Conversation content is sent over encrypted connections to an external AI provider to generate a response. The provider is contractually restricted from using that content to train its models. Because infrastructure and providers may operate outside Brazil, international data transfers can occur under contractual and technical safeguards described in the official policy.
Security and access
Amia uses encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, encrypted backups and a personal PIN in the app. No system can promise absolute security, and people remain responsible for protecting their device and credentials.
Your rights
Under the LGPD, people may request confirmation, access, correction, information about sharing, portability, anonymization or deletion when applicable, and may revoke consent. Conversations and accounts can also be deleted through the app where that option is available. Requests can be sent to oi@falecomamia.com.
Availability
Amia is currently offered only in Brazil, in Brazilian Portuguese. This English page exists so people can understand the product and its privacy approach; it does not mean the app is offered in other countries.
